Karen Baker

President & CEO

Karen is a strategic, visionary leader with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and more than 30 years of experience developing innovative business and marketing initiatives. She is passionate about uncovering new opportunities to elevate programs and unlock sustainable revenue streams for not-for-profit organizations.

Prior to entering lottery management, Karen was instrumental in overhauling and rebranding the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Jump Rope for Heart program. Many of her innovations from that work remain core to the program, which continues to be a cornerstone fundraiser today.

When the Heart and Stroke Foundation brought lottery management in-house, Karen was tapped to lead the lottery portfolio. She later transitioned from client to consultant, founding the Lottery Division at Mosaic Marketing Group. In this role, she helped organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario and CNIB generate millions of dollars in net new revenue.

Having worked on both the client and agency sides, Karen brings a rare and valuable perspective—grounded in collaboration, trust, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build truly effective client–consultant partnerships.
